In Italy, the ‘bar’ is the centre of social life, a place where the community gathers and somewhere that is accessible to all.
We want Nido to become a second home to those in the neighbourhood, and for visitors from further afield.
Max Sharrad (Young Chef of the Year, 2018 Appetite for Excellence) heads up the kitchen. Max’s ancestors hail from the northern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region where food takes influences from neighbouring Slovenia and Austria.
Our kitchen is open all day; from midday till late Tuesday-Saturday, and Sunday from 9am.
